"On The Edge Of Wrong 2008" returned to Cape Town 29. February – 2. March continuing the spirit of free music exploration. It was held at The Intimate Theatre in Cape Town.
On The Edge Of Wrong promotes improvised music as a search for "a music" which is immediate and unbound by stylistic conformity. Hence the name of the festival, it provides an environment for music that is conventionally marginalized. We believe there is a need to create a stage for stronger personal opinions, and that one way to stimulate preference is to hold a festival for highly individualistic music. Performances of this kind are generally too few and far between in a place where it is needed.
